Buttermilk Falls, Long Lake, NY

The cold morning produced a beautiful mist over the falls.

My suggestion would be to have moved the camera closer to avoid the bare brances on the upper right and try to bring out the shadow detail in the foreground either in PS or fill flash. Nice idea though.

I agree with the last poster and I think I would crop more from the top of the image to have less sky and clone out those tree branches my be something like this, though its a hard call but get rid of those tree branches. All the best.

it looks to me like you may have already done some lightening of the foreground?

Yea, the branches bother me as well. I moved in to take the following version, but I miss the foreground & the framing of the evergreen on the right. I'll probably need to spend some time with the cloning tool...
