A Flowery Dream

This is the first time i consciously shot a flower.This is taken

indoors and I used a window for the light. A diffuser and an 80 B was

used. I used the 80 B cos the day was overcast and i presumed, that

this filter would help me reatin the colours. And the diffuser for

the highlights to disappear. Please do give me your comments so that

i can caputer more flowers, which do seem to be real interesting

subjects.

Too much empty space. Not "plain" either.

Personally I dig more of the empty space in this image. But I also wish the flower could have been sharper.

Thanxs everyone. The photo looks much better in the print. The flower is not that sharp because a kenko softon diffusion filter was used.

I think the composition is OK, but it needs to be sharper - maybe focus, maybe scanning or other postprocessing...
