Great shot Hector! What is the foreground object? I like the drop by his mouth, he/she? got a nice big drink. Yet another wonderful hummingbird shot! Congratulations!

Incredible detail right to the drop of liquid on its face! That's it - I'm giving up on taking any more hummingbird pictures - I can't compete with these. :)

Not an Anna's Hummingbird. No Anna's Hummingbird has this amount of rufous on it. This is one of the Selasphorus hummers. I can't really tell from the tail feathers (the diagnostic) but I am going to guess this is a Rufous Hummingbird. See Sibley, p. 301
