I don't know if it is the photo.net compression, but many of these images as posted are always slightly off, to the dark side (underexposure) but only slightly. This nice image has this problem and the result is that the girl doesn't stand out well enough from the background and the colors are a bit dark(flat). Working the image with PS gamma curve and brightening the image very slightly by pulling the curve up, makes a tremendous difference.

I like this image a lot.  I like the lighting and the pose.  The model, in my opinion, could have selected to wear a red top with long sleeves, and ditched the necklace and that white circle thing to the portrait sitting.  That alone would have improved this shot immensely.
