This is probably my favourite shot from my own work, but I think my

memory of the occasion may be affecting my objectivity. I think the

exposure is good, I'm pleased about the colour in the sky, and the

reflections in the water, but could a dispassionate observer tell me

if the composition's OK? Or if the whole thing is just average? Many

Been there, taken similar photos... and mine weren't as good! Night shots are becoming something of a speciality of mine, and you have to pick exactly the right time (sunset detracts from the lights in the skyline, black sky is too boring) which you seem to have done. Two things make this photo great: One is the sharpness of the foreground, and the other is the fact that the sky has detail and (as Philip noted) is not all black. Great job!
