John G. 0 Posted August 27, 2001 Hi Pavel; I looked at your full folder, and this is my opinion. You are getting a nice light from the scanner, and I appreciate your invention. What detracts from the images is that they are very two dimensional. There certainly is a gradation of light towards the back, but that doesn't replace a sense of space which I find so important to photography. I think that the strongest images are the 'wheat' and the garlic because they have some dynamics to the composition. The two strings coming from the garlic help frame the bulb itself. The wheat has some motion, but I would prefer to see even more. I was thinking of an image with more components to show depth. Or perhaps something that presses against the glass. There could be some interesting selective focus. Anyway, just my two cents. Good luck! Link to comment
