This is a very lucky macro shot of a Blue Dasher male caught in the

cool of the morning before he was inclined to fly. I like this shot

but that leg exiting sharp left bothers me. Does it bother you?

I'm already tired of seeing macro shots. But, this one still impresses me. Very nice!

yes, you're right, the leg going out the left directs your eye straight out of the frame and is quite distracting - other than that, stunning picture - shame about the leg!!!

Awesome macro. In the large version, you can see the patterns of the compound eyes. The colors, clarity, composition & BG are all excellent. This is a winner.
