Stunning potrait. You could stare into those eyes for a lifetime. Was it as powerful in color?

The lack of fucus on the nose is slightly distracting but sharpness and detail of the rest of the face is a great contrast - intentional or accident?

I loathe my pores, in fact I spend a great sum of money every month trying to eliminate them. But, this picture changes my mind and makes me feel like a silly twit. If you were to retouch the image and make her skin smooth and completely flawless it wouldn't be half as beautiful. Your pictures seem to show real people with real "imperfections" and they are stunning! I love them.

This has stood the test of time for me. I first saw it over two years ago, and it still hits me with the same force upon seeing it again. I don't know what the original photo from the G3 looked like, but it could not have been square, and so this is a truly masterful crop. I am left wondering if there were enough pixels left over to make a viable print. Great Photoshop work.

Paul, Kama, the "God of Love" seems to me to be too close for comfort.

I can of course see as so many above the technical qualities of this photo and I also agree on the fact that it pays tribute to the natural beauty and has kept away from the plastic skin of so many photoshoped portraits.

When this is said, I feel somewhat puzzled by the way she has been treated on this photo. She is clearly beautiful, so what is gained by cutting here head in half ? Her eye is full of expression, so why not show us both ?

She being Kama, I would have preferred more distance.

i love the crisp clear look.

it gives the sense that you are there with the woman, and can read into her soul

Kama is not God of love, it is a symbol for Lust in Hindu mythology - this photo does not do justice to that word. However, it's an interesting portrait- over sharpening brought out more textures than typical soft skin style. Give her a white bordered frame

Beautiful contrast and shadows. Especially the color and highlights of the eye. It would also make an interesting collage in a series of 4: orientating each image in a different direction. Nice work.

I must say that this is a gorgeous portrait with great lighting and what is very original is the composition itself, welldone and regards, RK!

Really beatiful shot. The detail is wonderful and refreshing; I get so tired of airbrushed faces. Nice to see her real beauty.

And from a model's perspective, I'm sure that she loved to be captured so honestly.
