howard_griffin 0 Posted October 28, 2001 This shot was taken in the Pantheon in Paris, France. Funnily enough I was at the bottom of the staircase looking up and saw the shot! I like the bottom of the handrail showing in the bottom-left corner of the picture. It gives the form and shape a reality. A sense of place. Well? What do you think? Link to comment
andy jones 0 Posted October 29, 2001 I think the composition is great - but the shot looks too contrasty for me. I think I would have liked to see it printed a lot softer, with more detail in the lower left corner. Link to comment
ricardojmendez 0 Posted October 29, 2001 This sort of stairs usually provide for interesting seashell shapes when shot in black and white. Contrast is OK for me but I'm not sure if the handrail knob adds anything (though it does anchor what would be an otherwise abstract image). Link to comment
