I had to read the details, it looks so right out of a well written description of a beautiful little creek in a leaf strewn glade with two of the closet trees hugging...fabulous stuff here, Jen!!! Well Done!

VERY nice landscape, idyllic atmosphere, perfect composition with the brook leading the eye. Don`t know the master copy, but the gothic glow seems to add a dreamy effect. 7/6

I like the work you've done on this. The gothic glow is noticable if one looks toward the upper left corner, but is well served here. Nice composition and saturated colors. Feels like a nice, cool, somewhat damp fall day...

Jen, by any chance, is this at Wagner Falls? I know the term "painterly" gets a lot of use, but that is how I see this fine work of yours. I really like the composition, as the brook leads the eye into the scene. Regards.

I'm not at home at the moment, but I will post the original tomorrow so one can compare. Walter, you know the UP like I do. Yes, this is on the trail back to Wagner, and if I remember, I think it was the right side as you are walking back from the parking area. Although pleasing colors ... I like your other shot a lot more for the composition and subject. IMO this one is lacking in a substantial focal point.
