petejr 0 Posted August 20, 2004 Beautiful, Gail. We never see mammatus clouds in my part of the country and am alway impressed by their uniqueness. Welcome to photography. Link to comment
brant-o- 0 Posted August 20, 2004 Great capture. The deep dark clouds contrast well with the blue sky. I'm sure a crop of just the mamatus clouds would be equally impressive. Link to comment
sef1664877429 0 Posted August 20, 2004 I really, really want to like this picture, I'm a sucker for some nice clouds, but for some reason this just isn't hitting me. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe if it was just the storm cloud itself, but then the clear parts should add something, but they don't... It must be their position, the storm stops in the center, and the remaining clouds don't have any real sense of direction. I want them to by rushing away from the storm... sorry Gail, exposure is spot on, great colours, just doesn't hit me the way it should. Link to comment

drbtorcan 0 Posted June 30, 2006 I love clouds and skylines and I always look skyward for inspiration and things to shoot...your shot here has added to my inspiration and drive to continue to find the perfect cloud, the perfect sky, that glorious moment that nature does something wonderful.
