gazzah 0 Posted August 19, 2004 This is in the center of Tokyo, Japan, in front of the Imperial Palace, but the falling snow has mostly hidden the signs of the city - buildings, cars, and electric poles, perhaps revealing the trees just as the original gardeners intended. Link to comment

gazzah 0 Posted August 19, 2004 And thanks for the suggestion re cropping, Saeid. It does look cleaner your way, and perhaps the trees at the side in my print are distracting. I'll try it in the darkroom and see. My reasons for leaving them in, in the original, were 1. To draw the eye away from the center to look at the other detail, and 2. to suggest the continuation of the scene on either side. Link to comment
