mikael1 0 Posted August 15, 2004 Would have worked better without the exclamation mark, though. Link to comment
r_e 0 Posted August 15, 2004 My wife asked spontaneously: Why the exclamation mark? My answer: With exclamation mark it is positioned not so close to conventional associations - windmill, bloom... RE 6/6 Link to comment
faisal_sayeed1 0 Posted August 15, 2004 Excellent execution of astronomical oddity. Of course the moons would be lit very differently if it were a real scenario. May be try and recompose the image and see what happens. Good work. Link to comment
wernher 0 Posted August 16, 2004 I appreciate the time you guys took to leave comments.Mikael, Reiner (RE) is correct in his reasons for putting in the exclamation mark. I did a version first with only the moons but it did not please me so much - it was too obvious a thing to do with the images I had available. I put the exclamation mark in to break the photo up. Thanks for your points of view!Faisal, thanks for the feedback. You are absolutely correct from a technical perspective but I really only wanted to go for a pleasing geometric shape, an abstract almost, rather than trying to create an image that incorporated correct lighting. I will consider what you said but at this point I don't have a vision of how to compose this diferently!Regards,Wernher Link to comment
robidooo 0 Posted August 17, 2004 I like the concept a lot. As other, when I first saw it, I was feeling that the exclamation mark was odd but it make the picture more intriguing to me and I came coming back to it. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted August 18, 2004 It reminds me of a clock pendulum, tick, tick, ticking away, then the moon with references to time because of the partial and full moon use. Really neat abstract. Simple and nicely done. Link to comment
Tuhin 2 Posted August 19, 2004 Trademark Wernher creativity , you could exclude the exclamation mark . It disturbs the design , well done .. Link to comment
