Surveying His Domain

Early light on a summer morning at 14,000 ft.

I've been climbing 14'ers since I was 6 and have only seen these from a distance. Great shot!

I like this picture very much and it's certainly not like one you see every day. I think it deserves the very distracting little brown blocks at the top of the image that were probably somehow put their on accident in post-processing removed.

Fabulous ... I encountered some of his relatives in the mountains of Idaho last year. Mountain Goats are very fabulous creatures.
