shoshana 0 Posted August 18, 2001 I'm not sure if the depth of field chosen is distracting ... what do you think? (Other comments welcome also...) Link to comment
paulfisher 0 Posted August 18, 2001 I like this - the picture has impact! Depth of field is fine by me. The only criticisms are 1) the scan is too big to fit comfortably on my screen (I always work at 800x600) and 2) There is a blade of grass just by the snake's eye. You should have reached down and pushed it out of the way :-) Link to comment
dale_cochran 0 Posted August 18, 2001 I think the depth of field is fine. The top of the snakes head seems to be washed out a little though from the light source overhead. I do agree with the scan size. It is to big for the screen. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted September 15, 2001 Shoshana, nice diagonal composition. Good timing on the tongue movement. A little bright (on my screen at least) but with a neg. film should be easy to rectify. Paul has a bent sense of humor but a laugh is good for the soul. Best, LM. Link to comment
kevin7 0 Posted December 20, 2001 i had a burmese - got to be 12+ feet, when i gave her to a breeder. i'll have to dig out the photos i have - i think the green contrasting against the browns on the snake is very visually pleasing - try some head-on shots if you can with DOF fading as the snake's body falls out of the frame. nice shot.
