evening on Kodiak

after several days of rain, the clouds broke on our last evening at

a cabin on Fraser Lake in Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge.

Strong directional composition, great color. The mass on the left looms a little bit more than I would normally like in a light morning/sunset scene, but it seems to work here.

 

Did I already say great color? It has tremendous subtlety(sp?), nicely done.

Very nice landscape with great colors, great sky. Horizon in the middle is ok here, compositionwise nothing to improve for me. But horizon shift should be corrected (an idiosyncrasy of me, sorry)

Absolutely beautiful colours. Nice composition, but the dark space on the left is too much for me.

Great photo. I'd agree with the previous comments: I like the colors, but I wish the dark mass wasn't so dominant. By the way, you misspelled the lake name in the title ('Frazer').
