Wonderful composition. This is your classic tough image to expose, with dark house shadow and light sky. You did an admirable job! This may be an excellent candidate for some "digital blending" where you combine two exposures, one with proper sky exposure and one with proper house exposure (if you like doing that type of post processing that is!)

Quite an interesting house. Good composition. Would love to see it in better lighting circumstances like early morning, late evening depending on which way the house faces.
