Very nice, the detail is amazing.

Leigh, I liked the last version - this one is better though. The saturation worked well and has lifted the foreground detail a little more. Very nice work indeed.

Gee, this a great shot. First rate composition,light,tonality & color. I viewed the version on your sight against a dark backgroynd in PS, it sings. Unfortunately many of the folks now rating in the landscapes section on PN don't get it!!

Thanks again, Miles. I should clarify the arcane title. This was taken around Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory. The hills were burnt out in major fires, and in this section very little regrowth has appeared 18 months later.

All said, though, in the right light I think it looks beautiful. Perversely, it reminds me of ploughed fields in Tuscany.

And to a Sydney photographer, it's always good to find an accessible subject that's not on the coastline :p
