WJT 675 Posted July 19, 2004 I was attracted by the persisting artistry of this sadly neglected remembrance of the Victorian Age. I intend to revisit this location soon , before it is demolished. Comments, but more importantly suggestions for improvement, are invited. Link to comment
janice_quist 0 Posted July 19, 2004 Lovely and mysterious. The orange and yellow leaves are an effective accent and path for the eye. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted July 20, 2004 "Before it is demolished. . ." That tells the story, doesn't it? Sometimes I think that that is why I am out there taking pictures, before all of the beautiful things are taken down and replaced with nothing that is really unique or distinctive. Great work, Walt, both in finding and in capturing this place. Link to comment
nichols 0 Posted July 20, 2004 Great angle! Great compositionally. I really like the color of leaves in relation to the rest of the photo! Good work Link to comment
schneekranich 0 Posted July 20, 2004 this is like rollercoaster-backwards! I like the contrast of the elegant forms and the mere stone. Critique? The stone seems a bit blueish, would be interesting to view one more "grey" and one where you even boost up the blue... Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted July 21, 2004 I like the angle of this one. I don't remember what all I said when you posted it before, but I know I liked it. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted July 21, 2004 Great photo. These stairs are almost tangible. If I stay one moment longer, I will put the foot on it. Would you see my lasts loaded photos ? A gate at Loro Ciuffenna ; Siena, Via della Galuzza ; In the clouds . Thank you Link to comment
baldurbirgis 0 Posted July 22, 2004 Hi Walter, my opinion is that the light and colors are beautiful and the angle of view is also very interesting. Well done. Regards, Baldur Link to comment
