lripsher 0 Posted July 17, 2004 Man, what a shot. Such a unique and captivating shot of the wharf. I lived in Surrey Quays a year ago and know this area only too well, and this is a truely awesome piece of work. 7/6 Link to comment

andreatau 0 Posted July 18, 2004 No, no nooo!! I'm trying to resist the temptation of buying a distagon for my Hassy but this awesome shot... Just wonderful, print it 1x1m and hang it as it deserves. Link to comment

biskamp 1 Posted July 19, 2004 A perfect black-and-white shot, fantastic resolution. You must have hit a very calm night to get this sharp mirror image Link to comment
dwscott78 0 Posted July 19, 2004 Was this done at night? It looks like it might be a negative. If it was done at night, there sure were a lot of lights on in the buildings. Either way, wonderful shot. Link to comment
stb 0 Posted July 20, 2004 Well, thanks for all these positive comments! It is not a negative, it was taken at night. The Distagon is indeed an amazing lens with very limited distortion and amazing resolution. I think only a Biogon could be better, but that's impossible to mount on a reflex camera. Link to comment

tea man 0 Posted November 26, 2004 Well shot. The image has a very dynamic and "perspectived" feel to it which is very appropriate for these 80's modern building architecture. The architects of the buildings would be thrilled to see this image. Link to comment
