Halakala Crater mid-morning

Colors of the landscape are nice, but it's a pity the sky doesn't add anything. Also I wonder if it's possible -if you're into PC retouching- to bring some detail in the darkest parts.

Excellent landscape image...the colors are wonderful. You may consider using a ND graduated filter to make the shy more interesting/less obvious.

Good earth tones and nice contrast. The only bad part with these kind of shots can be the sky. Yours is not to bad though, a polorizer might have helped with this shot.

I'm amazed at the colors with this lighting. All I saw there was shades of brown from black to tan.
