frank_thomas3 0 Posted July 16, 2004 This may be the best flower photo I've seen. I really like it. Great work. Link to comment
timnichols 0 Posted July 16, 2004 These are wonderful and getting better. This one may be the best in a series that we've loved to watch as it grows. Link to comment
bwcombs 0 Posted July 16, 2004 What would be an otherwise "same old flower shot" is invigorated by the diffused latticework. Very nice. Great colors. Super composition. Link to comment
Tuhin 2 Posted July 16, 2004 this is a great capture and I feel rather dejected for not being able to rate this picture 7 on aesthetics . Jayme , I find the shadows on petals a bit disturbing.. Link to comment
chrisspracklen 0 Posted July 16, 2004 Fabulous colours in the flower, Jayme! Superb composition with respect to the shadow, too, the intersection passing through the heart of the flower!! Altogether lovely! Kind regards, Chris Link to comment
dhawks 0 Posted July 16, 2004 One of the few flower shots on Photo.net that breaks through the flower shot cliches. Great composition. Regards, Doug. Link to comment
robertmarleau 0 Posted July 16, 2004 wonderful image Jayme, just love the various coulours and the sharpness of it Link to comment

matthew_s._schwartz 0 Posted July 16, 2004 Ohhhhhh there it is! I was all set to agree with Tuhin about the distracting shadow cutting across the right side of the petals, but when I saw the reduced image on the "add a comment" page, I saw the rest of the shadow. :-) Is that the shadow of a fence? In any case, I love it now. 7/6! Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted July 17, 2004 The richness of the colors adds so much to this one... a unique perspective makes it though. Link to comment
gabriella_lucia 0 Posted July 17, 2004 Absolutely stunning color!! Not any old flower shot. Link to comment

jayme 0 Posted July 17, 2004 Being a rank amateur photographer, I am really thrilled with your wonderful comments. They inspire me to try harder and learn more. I've always been interested in art and not having the talent to paint or draw has always been frustrating for me. Photography & software like Photoshop has given me the means to express my point view of what & how I see something. I am always thrilled when others like what I see. Thank you! Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted July 17, 2004 Delightful shot, Jayme! I like the way you see more patterns the longer you look. Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted July 17, 2004 I realy love this, amazing colors and beautifull 'strange' shadows. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted July 17, 2004 A very artistic look at a flower. I, too, find the shadows slightly distracting, but this is still very nice. Without the shadows, you'd have to come up with a different title, too! :) Link to comment
robidooo 0 Posted July 17, 2004 I like the colors a lot, as well as the composition. But, the shadows, as other have mentionned, are a little too much distracting. Link to comment
