adi1 0 Posted July 16, 2004 ... and IMO so moody. I looked at this image for minutes and still couldn't get enough. It has an interesting vibrancy... a beautiful capture with beautiful lights. Cheers Link to comment
ddamian 0 Posted July 16, 2004 Another great one Alec. The geometry of the shapes and the color on that light are simply outstanding. Link to comment
micheleberti 0 Posted July 16, 2004 Love the lines and colours here. Great shot, as usual. Keep it up! Link to comment
erikadams 0 Posted July 16, 2004 Studying this shot, I see that you have achieved a sense of symmetry of the two vertical poles, without placing your camera midway between them. Each pole is equidistant from the edges of the frame, but the right pole recedes a bit into the distance, being farther from the camera. I'd like to understand why I find this arrangement is so appealing. Was it intentional, and can you comment on it? Link to comment
maria conversano 0 Posted July 16, 2004 Great, Great, Great! I love all in this photo. Exellent! Congrats, Alec. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted July 18, 2004 Alec, this has got to be one of your most favorite places as I remember one of your images with this structure (perhaps previous US trip?) IMHO, composition is far from being inspirational, but I really like all the colors that you've captured! Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted July 18, 2004 Thanks everyone. Yes, I've been to this place many times before but not shot any images during twilight. I'm glad I did it now. The colors are amazing and the digital white balance in Nikon D70 does it justice. A pity I'm not using my usual monitor to tweak the colors. Could have been better as I'm not used to my friend's IMac. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted July 18, 2004 Hi Alec...love this combination of light and its effect. Composition is excellent, too! Link to comment
