This is simply a super portrait. The level of detail and skin tones are excellent. Beautiful expression on the girl's face. Well done.

My kids know that most of the time on Sunday mornings they can find

me in the studio testing new equipment and/or fiddling around so,

they wonder in to see what I am up to as they get up or if they are

coming in from an outing with my wife. Usually, that's when

I 'snap'em' :) Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't.

 

This time my daughter walked in as I was testing my new infrared

flash transmitter and, as I was explaining to her what I was doing

she looked over to the camera to check out the gizmo. That's when I

took this shot. The light is mixed because there was a tungsten light

to her left but, I actually liked the mixed lighting effect.

I was thinking the fill light on the left was too powerful. good shot.
