This is my 1st self portrait.Being a beginner i dont know much about the technical stuff but a lot people told me it was good so here it is....please do tell me if it lacks something coz i cud really use alot of advice.

how to improve.

Lighting is good. The contrast in the eyes and nose shadow is good. the lips however seem a litle flat especially in the chin. The chin seems to be too close to the bottom edge.A 10th of a second exposure may give you too much time to move causing some blurring you may want to increase the iso and decrease the exposure time.

Good expression. The halo of light center on his face makes me think more about the lighting than about what the subject might be thinking.
