I like this picture. The tree on the right is a little overpowering, and the colour comes across, on my monitor anyway, as a little flat. The blurred close foreground is also distracting. However these are minor points in a richly textured and interesting image.

I like the perspective you chose - original. The image seems to me as though it is tilted counter clockwise, but I think it may just be an illusion caused by the more heavy elements on the right. I'd also like to see the colors more vibrant and less washed out - this may have been taken when the sun was too high?

I set white and black points on the attached photo. The picture was taken at noon, and the sun was very bright. Let me know what you think about the updated pic.

That version looks to have punchier colours. Are you near enough to re-shoot at another time of day, it looks a subject worth exploring further?

It is about a 3 hour drive (one way) away. I get over that way a few times per year. I will try to shoot something in the morning next time.
