martin. 0 Posted July 1, 2004 I like this picture. The tree on the right is a little overpowering, and the colour comes across, on my monitor anyway, as a little flat. The blurred close foreground is also distracting. However these are minor points in a richly textured and interesting image. Martin. Link to comment
cghubbell 0 Posted July 1, 2004 I like the perspective you chose - original. The image seems to me as though it is tilted counter clockwise, but I think it may just be an illusion caused by the more heavy elements on the right. I'd also like to see the colors more vibrant and less washed out - this may have been taken when the sun was too high? Link to comment
matthewriggle 11 Posted July 2, 2004 I set white and black points on the attached photo. The picture was taken at noon, and the sun was very bright. Let me know what you think about the updated pic. Thanks for the comments. Link to comment
martin. 0 Posted July 2, 2004 That version looks to have punchier colours. Are you near enough to re-shoot at another time of day, it looks a subject worth exploring further? Martin Link to comment
matthewriggle 11 Posted July 8, 2004 It is about a 3 hour drive (one way) away. I get over that way a few times per year. I will try to shoot something in the morning next time. Thanks for all the great comments. Link to comment
