This is part of a series of work taken mostly in NYC of homeless

people. I have worked on this project for over three years. I have

gotten to know many of the people in my project well. All my photos

are with permission. The background of this image is a beer ad on a

bus stop.

well, it's a good thing i read your description within the thread before i first posted, thinking that you had faded 2 pics together. i like the main subject here, but think the face on the ad is not "adding" anything (pardon the pun) to contrast the man's plight versus the message of the ad. Now say the ad had a well dressed man in a tux or something, that would be more contrasting. thus to me, if you are going to take this shot, i would have more emphasis somehow on the man himself. but, that's just my mere 2 cents. the look of desolation/solitude on his face you have portrayed quite well.
