Bom Jesus do Monte

One of the most beautiful churches of Portugal is built on a mountain with many steps.

The long lens has compressed the pattern into abstract geometry. Comments are very

welcome.

Wow, very interesting lines! My one suggestion is get rid of the bell and towers by cropping the top 1/5th of the image away and then you're left with just the stairs. I find the top part of the image distracting.

Beautiful detail and eyecatching design. I love the quality of large format photos. The only suggestion, and certainly subjective on my part. is to crop out the sky. Nonetheless, the image as it stands is exquisite.

Great pattern, terrific contrast and the deep blue of the sky just adds to it... good eye, my friend... I look for these shots all the time, but never seem to find them.
