J.W. Wall 3 Posted June 12, 2004 We're taking a print to a botanist to learn what the clear bubbles are. The threads appear to have been made by small, white spiders on these desert plants. Photographically, any suggestions on the crop or other aspects would be very welcome. This is about half of the original frame. Link to comment
menso_heus 0 Posted June 12, 2004 I don't get this shot at all, what am I looking at? A cocoon or something? Link to comment
J.W. Wall 3 Posted June 13, 2004 Thanks for asking. It is the flower of a desert plant. The entire plant consists of green stems that can be seen to resemble fingers. Flowers appear at the ends of these fingers, some of which are several feet in length. The uncropped shot is attached. Link to comment
J.W. Wall 3 Posted June 13, 2004 I added a photograph which shows the stems and blooms in my folder here. Link to comment
