evan_thomsen 0 Posted September 21, 2001 J.W., It's a clean manipulation...and an interesting composition. I'll probably rate it high in originality and about average aesthetically, but I guess I'm left asking...why did you put the Bank One building in the middle of the National park? Maybe I'm just not on the same wavelength, and perhaps it's because I'm a bit of a film grognard and thus tend to not react well to digital manipulations in general, but I guess I need to ask...why? Anyway, please only take this as a critique...as I state, I'm bit of an "old school wet darkroom" grognard, so maybe if I enjoyed digital photography more I'd be reacting better to it. J.W. Wall 3 Posted April 4, 2004 Sometimes "civilization" can be viewed as a "weed" e.g. huge developments using excessive amounts of water in the middle of the Sonoran desert. Link to comment
r 0 Posted March 24, 2006 i thought it was a statement about the architects of bank one drawing inspiration from the surrounding desert flora. i just didn't think the building was spikey enough. Link to comment
