reprint 0 Posted June 10, 2004 I took this picture early in the morning as the green frogs were sunning themselves in shafts of sunlight coming through the trees in the swamp. I loved the textures of the moss covered tree base on which this frog was sitting. Perhaps a polarizing filter might have helped the image further? Let me know what you think. thanks for your comments Link to comment
whinterberger 0 Posted January 28, 2006 Richness of colour , good focus , nice diagonal composition , perhaps I would have preferred (in ideal circumstances) the frog to have been set off against lighter surroundings ... first class shot , though ! Link to comment
reprint 0 Posted January 29, 2006 Thanks Walter. This was taken a while ago. I think the thing that bothers me most are the out of focus reflections from water in the background. This is a swamp and heavily wooded with shafts of light coming through the canopy. Thinking about your comment, perhaps if i move around more to use the moss more completely as a background that might help. Worth trying again this spring. thanks again. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 3, 2006 The frog is so beautiful that the reflections seem a very minor annoyance. Lovely! Link to comment
