billtootell 0 Posted September 22, 2001 Please view this in the large format in order to see the details. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
g1 0 Posted September 24, 2001 oh yes, definitely to be viewed on large. The light of the sky and mountain is incredibly clear & detailed. Almost as if computer rendered on a 3D software!! It looks surreal. The curve of water in the foreground looks super compositionally, & picks up the blues & cyans from the sky. Wish I was there. Quote Link to comment
blago 0 Posted September 26, 2001 Nice landscape, Bill. Two-chambered. One, close to us, for us, poor human creatures. The other, where the mountain is, for gods. And the border between is symbolic enough. Blago Quote Link to comment
philmorris 0 Posted October 8, 2001 I had seen your photograph as a visitor to photo.net a couple or so weeks ago. I signed up this Saturday just gone (6 Oct 01) and was pleased to happen over it again today. The image has all the appearance (composition and colouring) of a painting. It is simply beautiful. jean_schweitzer 0 Posted February 11, 2002 It is very nice as it is. Incredible landscape, For this photo I think that I would have tried the following crops: a) portrait format to bring emphasis on the central part of the picture b) another one that I think would be better, with only the top (in landscape format) the contrast of the datk green forest and mountain would give a very powerful picture, have you tried? Those are only suggestion do not misunderstand me the picture is very good already as it is but I just wonder if it could be even better, Jean Quote Link to comment
billtootell 0 Posted February 11, 2002 Jean, Thanks for your suggestions. I've tried those crops and, while they are nice, they are less dynamic and lack the overall sense of place that I get from this (uncropped) version. Quote Link to comment
