eva_lundh 0 Posted July 30, 2001 Taken in the last minutes of daylight. Kodak tri-x 400 and Minolta 9xi. Under-exposed and quite tricky to handle in the dark-room f. 11 with filter Ilford 00 and 90 sec. I wanted her to softly blend into the wheat and at the same time get as much details as possible. mark_werlwas 0 Posted July 30, 2001 Makes me wonder what she is looking at, and what she is thinking. Link to comment
george_hansen 0 Posted August 1, 2001 I generally like the photo but don't like the way the subject's eyes lead one away from the photo. Perhaps that's what you were seeking. Link to comment
bestlensfriend 0 Posted September 3, 2001 By putting the face to the right side of the photo and eyes watching the right edge, the photo is creating an emotion of a conflict and struggle. Link to comment
gauthier 0 Posted September 13, 2001 They're right about the composition; on the other hand, I tried a shot like that in the past and it didn't came out nearly as good as your picture is. Nice effect. Link to comment
eugbro 2 Posted September 16, 2001 Nice interplay of the grass with the subject's hair, which really intensifies the contrasting horizontal features of the face. Link to comment
