I would appreciate any comments or ratings. I can go back and

re-photograph this building.

its a nice idea and the picture is soft, but i would lighten up the porch overhead as it looks like there is a black on the top covering something, i personally don't like when the object or centre piece is in the center...maybe shot it at an angle and see if it works...maybe have the windows in the shot aswell...

What about putting a lit lamp after the door's window?

This is right on the money, gerald. Like the tones and contrast. Your folder is really well done. If you haven't looked at my B+W and you get a chance, take a look.

A man with a good eye, and on top of his camera. Nice tones and esposure.

Wood porch: Very nice moody shot. Forces you to look, and maybe wonder what's behind the door. I wouldn't change anything, but, just for curiosity, I would print it slightly more contrasty as a comparison.

I like the perspective, and the tones (although I'd agree with trying to lighten up the upper part a bit). Hmm, the stump in the foreground bothers me, though. It doesn't seem to be important to your composition - it's half cut-off as it is! - but I guess that you wanted to keep the post in the picture...
