The colors here are amazing, Rene. She looks beaten and bruised, and the arms at their unnatural positions enhance that image.

I'm not sure I like the excessive amount of yellow in her face, but other than that I'm really enchanted by these colors. The scratches in the walls, the gouges, really give the impression there was violence here, and she is the victim. I do have an issue with her left forearm, not that appears broken (I've already mentioned I like that effect) but with the way the hand seems unnatural, like it's not really her hand- it's very odd. That's probably my biggest issue.

Great Job!

I don't know if it was intentional, but I do like the mutilated look of the girl (arms, dirt, etc). Like mentioned already, it does give the feeling of violence. She's the victim of rape.

Very moving, and disturbing work. Great job, Rene! I love your work!

Rather daring to associate Rembrandt's name with this. At least he was a real artist. This reminds me more of Ingres - the pose seems unconsciously inspired by one of his odalisques.I won't repeat the charges about the deformed arms, but I think they are a serious blight here.I'm all for using unusual techniques, as long as they enrich the end result , but to me they just seem to add more surface than substance to this work.

The scratches on the wall distract me without adding to the overall photo. Otherwise, beautiful.
