arijit_ghosh2 0 Posted August 4, 2004 I was strolling at Har-ki-pauri, the bathing ghats at the North Indian holy town of Hardwar, when a man was swept off his feet while bathing in the river. The fast current almost swept him away, but he managed to grab a chain at the very last moment. It was almost dusk and the only camera I had was loaded with a 100 film, so most of my shots were wasted. Here are a few that weren't, this is the second of the series. Comments welcome, especially let me know which do you think is the best in the series. Link to comment
john_pettitt 0 Posted August 4, 2004 I agree this is the best of the series. You've captured the human drama of the moment. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted August 5, 2004 Good eye and quick reflexes. When I first saw this image, I easily imagined this was a scenario taking place in Bangladesh with the massive flooding. Link to comment
eric_t. 0 Posted August 6, 2004 I love the urgency you captured with this photo. There's power, movement, desparation...and wonderful news value. Excellent catch! Link to comment
