donsorsa 4 Posted May 4, 2004 Jani - This is a very powerful image that cannot be appreciated on a computer monitor. Just below the center, the interaction between the top and lower clouds is fluid, uncertain, and interesting. If this were properly blown up and printed, I am not sure if I would like the pole in the bottom middle or not, but I think I would like the lights flickering in the houses below. No doubt a large, framed print of this would grab everyone's attention - dynamic colors and composition. Well done. More when I get a break from work later in the week. Thanks. Don Link to comment
codepic 0 Posted May 8, 2004 I went out after a thunderstorm. At the sunset the colors were awesome. At first, all was yellowish and the saturation of the nature was amazing. When the time went by, everything smoothly changed through red to blue and black. This is one of the last photos of the sequence I took. Tell me what you think. Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted May 8, 2004 Fantastic sky, great colors. Don Sorsa is right, the photo would make an excellent large print (for less moise, you could stitch 3 or 4 landscape shots together vertically with Canon´s PhotoStitch). BTW, thank you for your comment on my landcape today - now I understand why your interest is focussed on sky now. Regards, Carsten Link to comment
