loughkb 0 Posted May 2, 2004 I respect the amount of time one has to put into hand coloring a picture. And you did very very well with this one! Link to comment
jonathan_proulx 0 Posted May 2, 2004 the hand coloring lends a timlessness and dreaminess to the scene. It seems like a fond and distant memory. Makes me want to explore hand coloring, though I doubt I have the patience... Link to comment
robert holmes 0 Posted May 2, 2004 Excellent work, Maggie...A hundred years ago, there were workshops with dozens of women hand colouring B/W photos for the postcard trade... I believe this old roadhouse has burned down since you took the picture..It is about two hours drive from me. Link to comment
samn 16 Posted May 2, 2004 Really nice work. IMO, it needs a highlight. Something to make it zing. Maybe some color in the dark wood on the inn. Link to comment
maggie__margaret__brezden 0 Posted May 2, 2004 Thanks so much for the comments. *smile* I like to record images that remind me of my ancestry and the hand coloring gives them an aged beauty. Besides that, its very relaxing and theraputic *smile* Thanks again for taking the time to look at my work and comment onit... Maggie Link to comment
james_oneill 0 Posted May 2, 2004 Nice work. You'd do it more justice if you posted a little larger. Link to comment
