Previously posted at the raw file size, I decided to do everyone a

favor and re-size the photo to a managable size(98k).

 

My first try at a fine photo with the Coolpix, I am pleased with it.

Took shot, didn't like it, set up for bounce flash, nailed it.

Pleasing to the eye. You may improve the composition by including the whole anther, in this photo it is cropped off at the top. I think it will evoke more interest and attention from the viewers.

Yes I did consider backing up to show more of the lily, but cutting in close really accentuated the star pattern and textures in the petals. I was looking for something other than just a documentation of the flower itself.
