tholte 16,977 Posted March 31, 2004 The Lubitel 166 is not a bad camera for the price, which you have just proved with your two images here. I like them both. Link to comment
timarmes 0 Posted March 31, 2004 I like this photo, however I feel distracted by the foreground's lack of focus. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 31, 2004 The vigneting of this picture creates some voyeurism... That makes the picture uncomfortable. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 31, 2004 This camera is a bargain for money ;-)! I got it for free anyways :)) I am getting rolleiflex anyways - it is much easier to focus on it, instead of looking into small round matt glass 1.5 cm in diameter... Btw, last 7 shots in my b/w folder were made by lubitel - I was pretty amazed by the quality...Vigneting casuses vouyerism? Can you explain please? Link to comment
lars raun 0 Posted April 1, 2004 I like it. The angle is good, the tones are fine. Titles adds some kind of melancholy for me, maybe not intended. I think its important that the forground is off focus, would have been completely ordinary without it. What I dont like is the strange shadows in the forground. What is it? a towel or something? I would have prefered a plain and evenly shaded foreground. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 1, 2004 The shadows in the foreground are just sand ... "dunes". The camera was standing right on the sand. Thanks for the comment! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 2, 2004 Miha, When I say that "Vigneting casuses vouyerism" it is because you could think you are looking in a hole, like looking in a door lock hole... as simple as that ;-) Regards, Julien Link to comment
