ducksquat 1 Posted March 29, 2004 I reworked this photo at the suggestion of a patron here and manually blurred the background crowd for better DOF. I originally wanted to have a better depth but it didn't work out well with the action shot coming so close to me so quickly. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 29, 2004 This is really excellent. Just the right amount of motion blur in just the right places. Perfect exposure and focus. The only thing that might have made it one bit better is if the horse's front hooves weren't cut off. Nonetheless, excellent! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 278 Posted March 29, 2004 I could have sworn that I commented and rated this extraordinary picture before. I said that it could only be a little more blurred in the background and that it is just as a great motion picture should be, or something like that. Yes, that it was blurred just as it should be. Maybe I didn't rate it double seven then, but I will now! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 278 Posted March 29, 2004 I just read the request for critique. I should have done it before. I didn't know I was a patron?! I have problems with the rating, but I won't give up. Link to comment
ducksquat 1 Posted March 30, 2004 Thanks, Pierre! That suggestion made a world of difference. I normally don't like to tamper with original shots much, but you were so right! Link to comment
