louise bridge 0 Posted March 23, 2004 I regret that I do not understand what this image shows. It has feathers and I am partial to bird shots, though I never attempt them myself because they are d--mned difficult, but I cannot understand this image at all. Link to comment
markskelly 0 Posted March 23, 2004 aaah, much nicer. I can see the whole picture now. ;-) Anyway, it's a really great abstract. There's lots of motion going on. It is a bit much to figure out the anatomy of the bird itself, but there are some nice shapes going on. I'm not too crazy about the color palette. Good work, though. Link to comment
terrybutler 0 Posted June 4, 2004 Not the sort of image you'll get every day and thats what makes it extra special. Link to comment
michael kramer 0 Posted June 4, 2004 It looks to me like a quick trigger pull with the wrong camera setup. Your comment further leads me to believe this is true. Therefore I rate this low as it seems to be no different than the errant click. I have looked at the other work in your portfolio and it is quite good. This capture while interesting to some degree (only to try and figure out what it is) is not representative of the art that you create with the rest of your work. I do apologize for not adding this comment at the time I made the rating. I was new to Photo.net and it wasnt clear to me how to add the comment at the time. I will add this comment to Photo.net as well so others may judge my rating in contrast with my comments. Link to comment
ben_granillo 0 Posted June 14, 2004 that this is an errant snap shot, some times the true art comes in recognizing that an image is interesting, lets not forget marcell duchamp who signed a urinal that some company manufactured to make a statement about the decay of art, and thus made art! 6/6, would have been nice to see the background a bit, try to copy this shot, contrive how you could set you camera up and spook the newt bird on purpose. rosi 0 Posted June 14, 2004 I love this. I have a shot of my grandson that is similar - all you see is a streak as he runs away from Chucky Cheese (a cartoon type character at a restaurant.) But I can't get anyone to appreciate it. Link to comment
d- 0 Posted June 15, 2004 Ben, I couldn't agree with you more. Thanks for the comment. Link to comment
arthur_king1 0 Posted June 16, 2004 Bravo pour le magnifique P鬩can. Nice bird, beautiful and light mouvement. Link to comment
leeblackman 0 Posted July 16, 2004 It just looks like a blurred picture to me. I've got a ton of these in my collection. I tell you what though, I'll give you a 1/1. You need to learn to not take offense when people rate your stuff how they feel. If you don't want it rated DONT POST IT. Your other stuff is great, keep shooting. Link to comment
rosi 0 Posted July 19, 2004 Gino - I have from timte to time asked the site managers (throught contacts) to check out some of the lousy ratings when they don't agree with the bulk of other ratings. They have removed them. Before you give up try that. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 11, 2004 Wow, I love this one. One of the few things that caught my eyes recently! Definitely a 7/7 v. Link to comment
charles_seef 0 Posted December 30, 2006 Mistake or not, I think it really works. Think you ended up with a great capture. Link to comment
