alecee 0 Posted March 24, 2004 Must be quite a windy day for the weeds to move like waves. Great landscape and wonderful saturation. Link to comment
thomas_turk 0 Posted March 25, 2004 Y u use a grey grad filter, Hans?? U lose more color saturation. The optics already eat up some of it going thru all the glass... Dunno if u r trying to please the dumbed down digitals, who nearly always exclaim that the film shots are toooo colorful...The grass beginning to look half dead.. I would have liked to compare with a shot of one and a half stops less, to see the white part of the cloud perfectly exposed..and much more drama in light and dark.. Link to comment
photos of hans koot 0 Posted March 25, 2004 The grass indeed is half dead :-). Wished I had used a grad grey 2 , Think it would have been better. Had to treat sky and foreground seperately in PS for that, about one stop can be adjusted without too much visible effect. I never noticed a decrease in saturation myself because of using a grad grey. The loss when not using it is actually more dramatically in my experience, and I consider these filters a 'must' for landscape photography. Link to comment
