Isn't that Norman Bates in the upper window?.....;) Good rendering of a remarkable structure, makes me want to know something of its history--a long one I'm sure. I've always been very drawn to derelict structures myself.

Nicely done. When I see these old places, in the flesh -- um, you know what I mean -- or in photos, I can't help thinking what they must've been like when they were full of life, kids running around, somebody mowing the lawn, cooking smells wafting over the property. This (and the other dead-house photos) make a nice thoughtful portfolio, with a plangent sepia motif.

Spookily surreal, and stunning.

I love old houses. Too bad this classic has gone to this state. Great shot!
