billfoster 0 Posted March 20, 2004 The colors are VERY nice. The green of the water against the grey of the storm works quite well. I assume the storm is an added layer? I can't see the shutter speeds for the water and the bolt being the same .... Link to comment
pawel_stradowski 0 Posted March 20, 2004 I would just recommend to increase contrast and get rid of grain by applying selective blur. See what I mean and tell me if you like it All the best Link to comment
james_watt 0 Posted March 21, 2004 Nice work! Very good range of colour. Regards, J.W. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 21, 2004 This works. I do like Pawel's slight alteration, though. Link to comment
carl_bulwinkel 0 Posted March 21, 2004 Pawel Yes I see what you mean it has more initial impact good hint and yes Bill the storm was on a separate layer (PhotoShop) I thank you for the comments. Link to comment
lisa_m 0 Posted March 22, 2004 Wow thats a really cool picture! Looks like something that would be on the front of a horror book or something, ya know? good job! Link to comment
deozmac 0 Posted March 22, 2004 Sorry could not resist that. Great contrast and composition. Cool addition of lightning bolt. BTW I think the place is Yeppoon in Queensland. Link to comment
tlsohl 0 Posted March 23, 2004 I like this very much. Don't mind the fact that it's a composition, but the storm doesn't quite jive with the rest of the scene...doesn't QUITE look natural. Still like the shot though. Link to comment
carl_bulwinkel 0 Posted March 23, 2004 Yes David you are correct its a place call Roselyn Bay near Yeppoon. To add to your comment about rocky, I live in the City of Rockhampton, which is know as Rocky. Mihail I like it. It makes it more threatening. Thanks Link to comment
