ken_rubin 0 Posted March 19, 2004 I like the composition. It bothers me that the subject's head is out of focus. Perhaps stronger depth of field? Also, would be more powerful from another angle so you could see the face. Nice pic, though! Link to comment
vemuri 1 Posted March 19, 2004 Nice timing. A little more DOF and some more area on the top would have been great. Link to comment
serge_filkin 0 Posted March 19, 2004 Nice picture overall but a little over exposed in highlights Link to comment
jerry_d 0 Posted March 19, 2004 Better photo than 'Aspen Out for Lunch'. Looks like an obsticle course for new recruits. Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted March 20, 2004 Do they make a polarizer that fits on the G5 ? I think that would help darken the reflections and saturate the colors. Great timing--painters don't move fast, but it's still tough to catch them in just the right pose. Link to comment
chubbs 0 Posted March 20, 2004 this is funny but the photography is too contrasted. the bright parts are splotchy white. Link to comment
lisa_m._holley 0 Posted March 20, 2004 Yes they do make a polarizer for the G5 which I have just purchased but have not received it yet. Can't wait to get it, though. Aspen is going to hate me using him for a model! LOL Link to comment
gordon_logue 0 Posted March 20, 2004 Be careful if you put the polarizer between the tele converter and your lens. Last weekend in Chincoteague I was set up that way and the polarizer came apart. Fortunately my tele coverter landed on the seat. I just snapped the polarizer back together and it was good as new. It just couldn't take the weight of the lens. Good shot. Link to comment
lisa_m._holley 0 Posted March 20, 2004 Thanks for the advice, Gordon. I will definitely remember that. Link to comment
lisa_m._holley 0 Posted March 22, 2004 Uh Oh, I didn't mean to cause any jealousy! LOL I was just helping Aspen learn how to climb and not end up on his back! He has never been outdoors before, so he is not real good at using his back legs...getting stronger though. I think he is loving it. LOL Link to comment
lisa_m._holley 0 Posted March 25, 2004 Thanks for all your comments, and I was helping him out by giving him a boost here and there! LOL Link to comment
