cyclura 0 Posted March 13, 2004 Francesco, I would like a little more information about this photo, or more specifically, how you enhanced it. By the looks of it, it is extremely over-saturated, and the hues/color curves may have been used with a little too much zeal. It appears as if one can see the outline/masking of the trees as you isolated the background to correct the colors. The upper right-hand corner shows a glare of some sort, which I am assuming is from a scan. With a photo this heavily manipulated, you could have used a cloning tool to cover this up. You are on the right track insofar as learning how to punch-up colors in what (may) have been a drab photo; but now you must learn how to do so in a subtle manner. I think everyone enjoys the "Fire-in-the-Sky" photos, but unfortunately this is looking too man-made. Link to comment
