not enough contrast on the subject - and to me the blue light takes away...IMO

I like the sharpness of it. I don't like the bright thing on the right. This shot would work really well if you ps'd that bright thing out.

Chris you need to crop this in portrait mode - you'll lose the end of the guitar but keep both hands in and you'll focus attention on him, away from the light. Given he's wearing black and the background is black the lighting on this is 100% spot on. With a tight crop I think you'll have an A1 photo. Still reckon 90% of people on photo.net just don't get concert photography...
