Wayne Melia 6,094 Posted March 13, 2004 A masterpiece indeed, for all the reasons mentioned - composition and "light handling" technique (including timing) to effect the capture.Plus, of course, the content! Also appreciate your polarizer filter comment. ian cameron 0 Posted March 25, 2004 I think this either is, or is close to being the best landscape picture I have ever seen. As a landscape lover myself, I wish I had taken it and I love every square mm/pixel. My jealousy and admiration knows no bounds. Link to comment
dmozzherin 0 Posted December 5, 2004 Beautiful shot! The confined by land reflection is excellent! Link to comment
tombla 0 Posted December 7, 2004 This is a king of view you don't see often. I love strong color of the rocks and dulled greens. 7/7 Link to comment
forrest_andrew 0 Posted November 26, 2005 having taken a shot of this scene myself just a few feet from where you must have stood, i can appreciate this image for what it is. excellent post processing use of ND grad - makes for great rich colors. you were also treated to a lovely sky. truely an incredible place - any other shots from around here?? chriss1 2 Posted October 5, 2006 excellent... it is not as much saturated as other shots with reflections but looks originaly. Reflection is, as other users noticed, just perfect. Link to comment
photo_dark 1 Posted May 16, 2008 Great one! I'm doing this hike in 5 weeks. I certainly can't wait. Excellent capture here... it is amazing how perfectly those calm morning ponds can reflect the surroundings. Anyone who thinks it is fake hasn't spent any time in the backcountry. Link to comment
