Carillon Approach

Taken the day I got my 300D as a long-exposure test. The carillon is a little over-exposed, but I liked the trail left by an airplane on its landing approach.30 second exposure at f5.6, ISO 100 setting

Butler University Carillon at night, taken as a long-exposure test the

day I got my Eos 10D. A plane on landing approach flew over during

the exposure.

 

I've uploaded two carillon shots for comparrison. This one has the

fun plane track and better exposure of the foliage, but I think the

carillon itself is over-exposed.

 

I'm curious which of the two folks prefer.

The plane makes all the difference - great framing. Photoshop may help with the exposure issues, I'd spend some time working it up. Great shot.
